This is a wonderful place to stay with stunning views and luxurious accommodation which was scrupulously clean and well maintained. The resident staff are very welcoming and provide extra touches such as fresh flowers strewn on the table without making you feel any loss of privacy. I have no hesitation recommending it- it was like staying in your own private hotel. As the owner states a car is a good idea to be able to explore the surrounding area. Our day trip to the atlas mountains was a highlight as was a trip to the souk in Marrakech. All with the added benefit of peace and tranquillity when you return to your villa.

What set this holiday apart and transformed it from a good holiday to a great experience were the people. Staying at the villa with the fabulous staff, trekking in the mountains with Jamal and meeting his family, and with Tim and his team on hand I really had the opportunity to understand and absorb the culture. We had a fantastic stay at Dar Tamazerte. The house is really beautifully appointed, comfortable and with delightful mature gardens. Its location is perfect - near enough to dash into the bustle of Marrakech yet also within easy reach of the Atlas Mountains and its snow capped mountains peaks.  Whilst we were tempted with the list of great restaurants to visit we enjoyed the cuisine and hospitality of the delightful Saidia and  Latifa . They were charming hosts and we hope to visit them again soon.

We had the most wonderful time at Dar Tamazerte - so wonderful we didn't actually go anywhere else! - we just stayed at the villa for the whole week. I have been trying to think a few words to sum up the experience - the fabulous house, the view of the mountains, the dragon flies skimming over the pool - it's like your own personal paradise - and Latifa and Saidia could not be sweeter. NB the food was amazing!
